I checked on everyone this morning and saw one of my tiger shrimp has eggs! I was quite surprised because I was expecting my cherries to get eggs before the tigers.
The eggs are green and she's "juggling" them with her swimmerettes.
I'm keeping my finger's crossed and buying a sponge to cover the filter just in case.
I never expected to get eggs from my tigers.....I was worried enough about keeping them alive since they are more delicate than cherries.
as mustafa write in his article they really dont like hard/alkalin water.
i have to go below 6 with TDS <50 to be able raise some young (and not a lot survive)

As I mentioned i'm just happy the shrimp got eggs.....whether she drops them after a few days or not I don't know.....whether I get any babies, well I don't know that either but it's the first time i've seen any of my tigers with eggs so wish me luck.
