Hi. would it be wise to keep some shrimps liek RCS and amano with a king tiger pleco??
Here is a link to kingtiger pleco.

I just think this pleco is the closest thing to a zebra pleco, which is almost considered to be extinct but some breeders still have it (sells for $200+!!! =O).
Just wondering if its shrimp compatible?

Re: Shrimps with plecos?
the king tiger is a species of Hypancistrus, and they are as a whole a variety of pleco that prefers 'meaty' foods and will most likely chow down on any shrimp they can get ahold ofdevilofdajnk wrote:Hi. would it be wise to keep some shrimps liek RCS and amano with a king tiger pleco??

I really urge you, again, to read the rules before continuing to post. This is the second time within a few days that you are breaking the rules for this forum. I you need to post a picture of something, the don't just link to some commercial website, but link to the picture so it shows up in the forum just as a picture.
I have to issue you a formal warning. If you keep disregarding the rules, further action will be taken without warning.
