last night i was adding a couple stones for my home made rockery for my shrimp and one of my Amano Shrimp jumped out and i diddnt notice, i woke up this morning and noticed it on the floor i thaught it was dead and i carefully picked it up and noticed it twitch slightly so i quickly put it back in my tank and a couple of hours later i check on it and its alot better. It isnt moveing too much but i think thats due to shock. I think ill be alot more carefull next time i come to do anyting with my tank.
How long do you think it was outside? It must have tried to remain motionless in order to survive that long Well best wishes and please let us know how the recovery goes
over 8 hours id say it has moved behind part of my rockery not moveing too much still ... it just span around 180degrees to face me and my computer moniter. and now its starting to liven up as i write this going to the pub soon so ill give another update when im back
the poor little shrimp seems to be suffering from shock or something its still alive and moves around the tank but slowly ( while im watching) it is alot more lively since yesterday. i think it may just survive, it is also picking at the gravel for food and i havent seen him do that since the accident
i woke up this morning and it was dead unfortunatly i think it was the stress of it all and not the being out the tank. anyway im going to check out another fish shop on wed with my father and friend so hopefully i can get some more shrimp.
i doubt it i got my father to phone them whilst i was doing some stuff and from the sounds of things they only sell mariene shrimp but on the way back ill check some other places. (wish i had my driving licence allready)
