Baby Bee Pics

Post by DanHagan »

Well, the baby bee shrimp are about 2 weeks old. I spent a little time with my crappy camera and my shrimp and here are a few pics for everybody!

First is a "wild type" VERY low grade C

Next we have a c+/b- baby (will grow to be a C+/C I believe)

For a size referance, this shrimp is on ADA Aquasoil Amazonia, and all shrimp are about the same size, give or take a mm.

Third, this is what looks like an A, I think if it had its 4th line on the tail it could be a low S

Followed by a low A

A bad shot of siblings, one a very low C the other a C+/B

And finally, a B+ (would be an A if the white connected to the black up front!)

Now most of these shrimp are going to loose a little bit of white, but not much. They should stay close to the grade they are now. In this tank I have about 25-30 babies, but they are still very small and hard to get pics of!

Questions and comments are welcome!

Ok, so the grading has to do with the white bands more than the dark ones? Thank you for sharing the pictures and grading of your shrimp. You must be proud!

Grading has to do with both the white bands and the dark bands. In general, the more white the higher the grade! But, the dark bands have to be dark as well!
