Howdy all!
Just got into Shrimpies about 3 weeks ago; got 20 (ish) RCSin a 10 gal tank with 2 Mystery Snails.
All doing good, one of the females dropped eggs a week ago, and I noticed another with eggs last night:
Snails have been busy also; got 5 clutches of eggs on tank lid.
Great site here!

Hello aardvark
And Welcome to the Forum.
It looks like you have a good start at a RCS colony.
If all goes well, you will soon be over run with Babies.
Just remember,
To feed sparingly, and keep up on your water changes.

Welcome! Yes, apple snails work well with RCS. They sort of make a little over feeding not very important. I find they both like cooked dandelion greens.
Keep up the good work! Soon you'll be ready for another tank.

The only problem I have found with keeping apple snails with shrimp is the tank space each snail requires....that and the fact they are poop machines.

That they are!
What I'm going to do with baby shrimpies and snails I haven't figured out yet; will cross that bridge when I get to it.
Do have a few feelers out to fellow fish people...

I just joined an aquarium club locally. They were really amazed at my shrimp & snails. My extras will have no trouble finding homes.

That is an excellent way to lighten a crowded tank and to expand the hobby
