Hi there. Does anyone know if having high conductivity will affect negatively neocaridina shrimp? I am speaking of around 600ppm. What conductivity do you recommend?
Thanks
Effects og high conductivity in Neocaridinas

They will be fine at 600 ppm. By the way conductivity is measured in microsiemens, TDS (total dissolved solids) is measured in ppm and is usually derived from conductivity in electronic meters. So, 600 ppm TDS is about 1000 microsiemens/cm conductivity. I have raised the salinity to slightly brackish levels (3000-4000 microsimens/cm conductivity or about 1.003 to 1.004 specific gravity) in one of my red cherry shrimp tanks before and both adults and young did fine and even continued breeding. I don't know if that's the exact same for all caridina, but 600 ppm should be fine.
If you're having problems with your shrimp I would first look at other possible factors before deciding that the conductivity of your water supply is too high.
