Anyway, one of the two RCS with eggs dropped must have had them hatch (they hide well, so both may be hiding), but am seeing little tiny shrimpies; one or two at a time.
How many normally survive from a hatch? Looks to be 40-50 eggs on the shrimpies, so I would expect 40-50 baby shrimpies swimming around.
Darn things are so small though, so they could be hiding in plain sight...
Probably closer to 30. It is easy to over-estimate. Suurvival rate can be anything from 0 to nearly 100%, it is totally dependent on the tank. Read up on the articles and you'll maximize the return.
If you have moss then most of them will be there or on the other plants. They also like to hang around the filters to find food. Keep looking and you will find them!
Your not joking! I just transfered some of my juvenile RCS, about 1 cm, to a new tank and found about 30 in the clump of moss and there are still many more in there
