I recieved AZ Garden's tiger shrimp. It is olive, golden eyes, and a white stripe down its back. What was it? :smt017 A malaysian rainbow shrimp? They sell those too. :smt100

That obviously does not sound like a Tiger Shrimp. Also, that "Malaysian" Rainbow Shrimp is actually from India. Go figure....:smt012

i ordered 3 :) However looking at your description of the rainbow shrimp, I noticed you said the larvae did not have a planktonic stage, however there happened to be a female carrying eggs and she released them in the bag  . The were not mini-shrimp, rather floating shrimplets. Odd, huh? :?

There are several species that are called rainbow shrimp. Maybe some of them have a (abbreviated) planktonic stage.
