bamboo shrimps DEAD?
Hey I've had 3 asian filter shrimp for 6 months and have been doing fine until yester day I found the male and female that were the largest had moltin their protective exoskeletons/shells what ever its called and were curled up under an ornimate orange looking like a dead shrimp. I know that they have to "shed" every so often but are they really dead or how to tell. I dont see any movement ,but I dont know if there green spotted puffer food yet or not. The other small female is fine hideing under my sponge filter. They live in a Fry fish/ shrimp only tank. There are some blue shrimp/ and ghost shrimp in it nothing to hurt the filters.

Hi bocephius,
At this time do you see the molted/shed shell of both the shrimp seperate from the shrimp themselves?
