invert trivia

Alright, I admit I'm a trivia nut. Today in the crossward puzzle they called a female lobster a hen. IS a female lobster called that? Other animals are called different things...buck, doe, bull, heiffer(spelling?) are just a couple that come to mind. Any input from anyone?

I had never heard that myself, but the wikipedia also uses "hen" and "cock" for female and male lobsters
