G'day guys... my cryafish has been living in a very green tank for a while now. I did finally get some time to clean it out but have noticed something pretty weird. He seems to have a little 'beard'. They are more on one side than the other, and they are like little grey/white wormy looking things. There is one or two elsewhere on the carapace, but they're mostly around the mouthparts.. What are they? How can I get rid of them? They don't seem to be causing him any issus but I'm curious.
Cheers

Nice cray! I don't see anything unusual about him. Not sure what you mean by "beard."
Re: Cherax destructor 'Beard'
After doing some of my own research and asking some other forums, they are called temnocephala worms.
