Congrats! The problem is keeping the larvae alive (which seems to be up to three months according to literature...but that's not set in stone) until they become benthic. I'm glad more people are trying, though. :)

My larvae alive and then they are metamorphosing to shrimps.. Yes - the development is long - about 70 days..

That is awesome! Congratulations for breeding this species! You should give the african filter shrimp a try, too! :)

Thank you, good inspiration for me.. Now I have not any Atya gabonensis shrimps, so I will look for them.

Hi,

Congratulations on this! Did they survive to adulthood?

I've got mine to release larvae, but they hevent survived. Did you give them any special environment to metamorphose - any saltwater at any stage?
