Hi,
Can a couple of black Mollies be introduced in a tank containing cherry shrimps? Would the shrimp end up as snacks?

Re: Shrimps and Black molly
I am no expert, but thought I would add my two cents since no one else has.
We don't have cherry shrimp yet (they are in the mail). However, we do have 8-10 ghost shrimp in a tank with lyre tail mollies. The mollies have no desire to bother the shrimp. Some people said that after molting the shrimp were in danger, however I haven't seen that.
I am planning on putting our cherry shrimp in there as well. My only concern is the little shrimplets...I do think that our well planted tank will offer a number of great hiding spots and I am also planning on adding a bamboo tube for them to hide in.
Good luck!
