Hi everyone,
I have several tanks of Opae up and running, and I notice that some shrimp have black thoraxes, and some creamy white. This seems independent of the carapace color. Why is this? Is it sex related?
Thank you--

Re: Question about Opae internal color--black/white?
hi,
I read, that the sexes are distinguished by looking at the first and second pleopod endopodites, which is difficult, because they´re so small....
I have also some opae´ulas with dark redish thoraxes, and - as you described - some with black or white ones....don´t know what it means.
liebe Grüße,
Evi
