Shrimp in Breeding Box

Post by Duncan13 »

Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum. :smt006
I'm relatively new to the hobby of shrimp keeping, though I do breed and keep fish, newts etc. I was wondering if I could keep different types of shrimp all in one 20 gallon tank with strong filtration. The way I would do it is to have different breeding boxes on the sides of the tank. I would keep 5-10 shrimp in each box with a large clump of java moss. Would that be a stable and good environment for the shrimp? Thanks in advance(:

Small breeding boxes are not the best environment for long term success.
Even if you only started with a pair of Shrimp, they would soon over populate their small environment.
