Now that my Caridina sulawesi arrived and are settling into their new home.
I was doing a little more reading on them in the Species Descriptions Pages and noticed that the first Berried Female is carrying Green Eggs

and the second Berried Female is carrying Black Eggs.

Do the Eggs change color as they develop ?
or
Will different Females carry different colored eggs ?

Re: Caridina sulawesi Egg Color
Very good question! I actually did not think too much about it. To make sure you get a good reply I actually went ahead and took a bunch of pictures of newly ovigerous females and females who have been carrying eggs for a while (it's hard to see the colors with the naked eye since the lighting situation is not optimal, and the animals and eggs are so damn small). Turns out that all the newly ovigerous females have green eggs and the females with the older eggs have dark eggs. So, yes, eggs turn darker as they get older.
Good observation!
