i've lost the entire hatch of amano/yamato shrimp... almost... there are still three larvae hanging on, but i don't think they will make it. i managed to keep them alive for a little while, but they weren't eating (feeding them baker's yeast). water was at full ocean salinity. i have a small desk lamp on 24/7 and am running a sponge filter. i tried following the instructions/recommendations documented and found on mikes-machine, so i'm not entirely sure why they didn't survive. but it's back to the drawing board. the female that laid the original batch is carrying again, and it looks like another female will be joining her soon.
anyone else out there lose a batch of amano/yamato shrimp? can u account for y the losses occurred? any advice for the future would be helpful. thanks.
