It is believed to be colourless (but not albino) form of Neocaridina denticulata. But is it new? I don't know, but since it isn't available in shops I would rather think it's new.

Hi !

Neocaridna cf. zhangjiajiensis sp. "white perl" is an Mutation of the Neocaridna cf. zhangjiajiensis - it's not the same kind as Neocaridina denticulata as written at http://www.wirbellose.de

This is what i read on http://www.wirbellose.de

"Es handelt sich wahrscheinlich um eine farblose (kein Albino) Mutation von Neocaridina denticulata. Genaueres muss noch untersucht werden.
Mutation, die als erstes bei Ulf Gottschalk vor mehr als 3 Jahren aufgetreten ist.

Die Art unterscheidet sich in der Ausprägung der männlichen Geschlechtsorgane an den Endopoden deutlich von N. denticulata, stellt demnach eine eigenständige Art dar (Werner Klotz)."

Is this wrong info? :(

Hi !
I asked at the IFSK Forum and got the reply, that Werner Klotz described it as different to N. denticulata.
