Holiday Feeding

How do you ensure sufficient feeding when you are away eg on holiday?
Is normal weekend-feeder detrimental to dwarf shrimp or what is the alternative?

If you are concerned, I would put in some snowflake food. It's commonly sold on shrimp supply websites and leftover food doesn't foul or cloud the water.
In an established tank, shrimp can go a few days without being fed as they can graze on algae or diatoms in the tank. Even if you do nothing I think they will be fine.
I would not use the vacation feeders sold in pet stores.
