Hi Everyone,
During a vacation on the Big Island in Hawaii last Christmas, I was introduced to opae ula while reading the nice little book, Hawaiian Anchialine Pools: Windows to a Hidden World (2015) by Mike N. Yamamoto, Thomas Y. Iwai Jr., & Annette W. Tagawa. In January of this year I set up a 2 gallon container following the excellent guidelines provided by Mustafa, and subsequently purchased chaetomorpha and snails, and later 40 shrimp. This week I found my first female carrying embryos.
Needless to say, this has developed into a fascinating hobby.
Thanks,
Kirk

Thanks for the post and welcome to the forum!
Glad things are working out great for you. That's a really nice tank and I love the red coral by the way.
Keep the updates coming!
