Bubbles in my tank?

Post by ssdarling »

I've had my little guys for almost a year now. I moved them to a window with indirect sunlight about a month ago. Several days ago I notices a few bubbles forming in amongst the algae. Today, there are bubbles everywhere, including microbubbles all over the substrate! What could be causing this?

It's the algae producing more oxygen because of the increased light. I have had my macroalgae get bubbles and float to the surface a few times. It's not a bad thing. It's called pearling.
