Baby Boom!

Exactly a year ago I received 26 shrimp from Mustafa. In the spring I started seeing berried females and then finally a single solo baby here and there. A month ago I hit the jackpot and got about 18 babies all at once. I was so happy. Then a few more were born. Then I went on vacation for a week and came back to more than 40 babies floating around! I couldn't believe my eyes! I don't know exactly how many shrimp are in the tank now, but I'd estimate my total population has tripled in a year. 75-ish, maybe? My family laughs at how "into" these shrimp I am, but I work at home and the tank is right next to my desk, so it's non-stop entertainment for me. The shrimp and I have bonded. Lol. Anyway, here are a couple pics of some of the babies.

So funny! I work from home part of the time and my guys are on my work desk as well. I just spotted my first babies today!
