Fertilisers and Bamboo shrimp

Post by mezrie »

Hello everyone,

Do any of you use the Easy-Life EasyCarbo and/or EasyLife Profito in your aquariums?
What are your experiences with it - do you think it's ok for a shrimp tank?

Recently my two shrimp have been acting oddly, I am trying to investigate why. It could be many reasons:-

New plant had stuff on it - plant shop say this is not possible.
Warmer temperature - it's been really warm here the last few days.
Stress - I jiggled things around in my tank this week
Hungry - I feed them via pipette regularly so wouldn't have thought so
Fertilisers.

For the last few days they have been clamped on to the filter, right near the water surface. Something is not right.
I've done a 50% water change, tested the water before and after and it's fine. I've bought a copper test but it won't arrive until mid week.

Any thoughts or advice appreciated.

I would ask your question on a forum that is more open to discussion of freshwater invertebrates. This site has become almost exclusively focused on Opae'Ula.
