Before & After Pics Of An Algae Covered Rock

Post by Vorteil »

So I decided to take apart my half gallon jar. It just sat in back of my tanks and was difficult to view. This algae covered rock was right in the middle of the jar. I decided to stick it in one of my 5 gallon tanks. I guess there was too much algae in the jar but the opae in the tank ate it up. This was under LED lighting.

I know this is a very old post, but if you're still active here, this algae is BEAUTIFUL. The contrast between the light green and dark green is super! How is your tank doing? Is the algae still doing well?
