Sea Urchin Skeleton disaster.

Folks need your advice. I got a 5 pieces set of sea urchin Skeleton and boiled them before adding to my tank. 1 specific leaked a cloud like formation. I pulled it off the tank, no death but the smoke like formation is still there. Any help???

Hard to tell from the pic but is there any substance to it? Could it be dredged out?

If not, to be on the safe side you could always do a water change; as much as you think necessary.

Still no death found in tank. The cloud like formation dissolved over night but its kind murky in the middle.
I got 60 liter water in there, might as well re-model my tank to my liking.

You should be fine. Probably the cloud is just made up of calcium. Worse case just do a major water change.
