Is it possible to mix them? I was thinking of water striders, water boatmen, and back swimmers. What do you think?

I am not sure but aren't most of those predators and will probably eat them.

It's a bad idea - if you like your shrimps.
Recently i found this Dragon Fly larvae in my RCS breeding tank.
For the next 14 days all the smallest of the babyshrimps dissapeared.
After it developed into af grownup Dragon Fly, the small baby shrimps are coming back.
