That has happened to one of my best cherry female. I thought something attacked her from behind (a very horny male, who just didn't know where to stick it!!!). She stayed alive for 2-3 days and perished. When I removed her, her head plopped off her body. IMO, I think it was an internal parasite that...

I hope you have alot of hidng spaces, because those baby cherries don't have a chance against fish. Why doesn't...

Sorry Javagirl, but can you get the bold off the wording. It seems like your mad or yelling for help and it also annoys me. No offense. Now why would you go and purchase shrimp if you knew you didn't have room? also, if you have 30+ shrimp, why didn't you test to see if they would breed in the 29 ga...

IMHO, if you want to breed cherries succesfully, get rid all your fish and just make it an all shrimp tank. I too am having difficulties in breeding my cherries, after I put 2x the amount of crystals. I only have a small amount of baby crystals, since they are difficult for me. I'm thinking about tr...

whats with all the grading on crytals? To some people it's a hobby to collect different types of shrimp for pure enjoyment, but to others its all about who has what grade? I find it ridiculous on the grades of the crystals. So now what, everyone wants the SS crystals, what a bunch of baloney!!! Try ...

Easy, just get rid of the vallisineria. Did you just wanna keep the hairgrass or do something totally different? If, thats not the point, then get rid of everything carefully, shake all plants to ensure all shrimps don't come out with the plants. If you have driftwood, just leave it and scape around...

I have to agree with everyone. Get rid of all the guppies and pleco. They might do more harm, than you think. Plus, your not their to monitor any bad behavior. If you want to have a thriving colony of cherries, have only a shrimp tank.I'm glad I did, their breeding like rabbits in their. Only if I c...
