I keep and breed CRS and cherries in the same tank. They do quite well. The only major difference is CRS prefer cooler temps. I keep my tank at 73.5F which is fine for Cherries.

So you think if I bring down the Temp to 73F , it will help CRYSTAL and will not hurt Cherry Reds also !
How about the acidity of the water . I read that Crystal like acidic water .

I feed my shrimp HBH products including the Algae Wafers and Crab & Lobster Bites and they have not displayed any ill effects. In fact, I've breed nearly 1,500 cherry shrimp and 100 crystal reds in the past year on this diet.

That looks like snail eggs.

The same thing happened to me and I had a snail population explosion in my tanks. I had to physically remove them on a daily basis and I would pull out egg clusters as I found them on my plants and glass.

I ordered two batches of cherries a few months ago from two separate sources and kept them in my 65gal display tank. I moved 10 of them to a 10 gallon plant grow out tank and the population just took off. I have nearly 150 now...less ...

OK...show me a source that has Crystal Shrimp for less than $5-$6 each and I'll by 50 right now.

These shrimp are way overpriced for my taste. NOT this proposal in particular, but this variety of shrimp as a whole is ridiculously expensive. When they're a little more common and not so expensive maybe I'll try to get a few in the future.

I have the opportunity to import a large quantity of Crystal Red Shrimp. I've seen pictures from the seller and the quality is very high. The shrimp will be 1/2"-3/8" in size and have very strong coloration.
