Did you keep them with any fish in the tank? If so did they attempt or succeed in trying to capture or kill your fish?Not personally with Red Claws, but my young M. Rosenbergii ate every snail under 1/4. The only survivors are in the ball filter. The cajun crays also eat baby snails.

if kept in sufficient numbers (in the hundreds) would cherry shrimp, green shrimp or even snowball shrimp be able to really clean up an algae infested tank? And Which dwarf shrimp in your opinions would be best suited to eating hair and green spot algae?
