Does tetra feed on the larva of Shrimps?

probably. anything small enuff to fit in their mouths can and will be eaten.

Absolutely. Tetras are evolved to eat exactly this type of food.

I pity yr larva... :( .. guess i shall not consider a fish in my shrimp tank

if u want maximum chances of survival, go with a shrimp only tank. fish will eat anything, esp if it's live. if u have plenty of hiding spaces (eg. java moss) and u don't mind losing a few to keep the population in check, fish are ok.
