I just put in a fresh Petshrimp macroalgae. Should I remove this other pale green one? Is it dead?

When I first got my tank I had a few algae do that that and they never came back so I removed them after a while because I didn't like the way they look. I think your light might be too bright, I had a light like that at first and it kept killing the algae.

Yes I'd take out the pale one. From the looks of it, it might be on its way out - its decay would mess with the tank.
