Re: New article about "brackish tolerant plants"
Thanks for the update Mustafa! Wonder how you'll solve that shipping issue.. does sound like it's hard to ensure safe arrival to it's final destination. As you take so much pride in your products I know you wouldn't offer it until you got that aspect resolved. Maybe with any luck itll eventually hav...

Re: New article about "brackish tolerant plants"
I remember you posting that! Wonder what happened. I'd love to order some from Mustafa if he's managed to get it going. I'm sure he's just making sure it's long-term tested.

I bought from Mustafa and drove it up here. I didn't find any good suppliers here but now I got a ton so I'm glad I did it.

Re: New SuperShrimp Fan!
Since it's my first time with baby shrimp hard to give you an answer but I'd imagine between 6 months to a year.. if not sooner. I'm sure Mustafa can help answer that. Update on the large tank.. I'm still getting berried shrimp constantly after the first ones I'm April.. pretty sure I've gone from t...

Re: New SuperShrimp Fan!
Small tank is doing well, got 6 shrimps in there. Growing slower than their sibblings in the larger one I believe but they're slight pink so I'll take that as a good sign. I'm going to assume that I'll really have to see if they're happy when they hit breeding age and are not getting berried. Then I...

Looks like remnanta of moss ball. Could be some macroalgae that tagged along if you got shrimp from Mustafa.

Re: Opae
Agreed with Mrs T. Just put a covering on it. You can just seal it so things don't get in. My tank has a cover with some openings I just covered them up.

Re: New SuperShrimp Fan!
Thanks everyone for the compliments & Mustafa for digging up posts and commenting on them :), appreciate how much you keep up with us. As promised I started a new tank, its much smaller 1/4 gallon so i don't know if it'll work out as well. It's almost a perfect cube, 4x4x5 inches. The lid is rea...

Re: My new setup (newbie to brackish tanks)
Nope, I've had bubbles because of my lava rock and ohko/dragon stones and they've not phased any of the shrimp. Shouldn't be worried at all.

Re: Berried Shrip
Not much! Some people have set to avoid feeding it cause in their frenzy they may drop the eggs. So I took that precaution when i saw my first berried shrimp. I fed mine some spirulina last week thinking all my females had released their clutches only to find out I had a hidden new berried come out ...

Don't need to worry about either.
The larvae will be fine and will hover towards the brightest source of light.

Re: Is my shrimp pushing out her eggs?
Well from that last photo you can be sure that you'll be seeing larva soon, just a few days at most now. And if some of the eggs did drop a couple days before this photo there's high chances those were mature enough to turn into larva on their own too. I believe the females will get better at it ove...

I with varanus, I don't believe your snails would cause that much disturbance. I haven't had issues with them with my decor.
