Do I need to put a heating pack?

I just moved them from a 29 gallon tank. There's java moss in there. I have a sponge filter running. There are both babies and adults. I usually don't feed them often because I had a lot of algae, but now that I moved them to the 10 gallon, I usually feed a little piece of algae wafer or fish food e...

I have about 200 cherry red shrimps. How much algae wafer or flake food should I feed and how often? Should I feed foods with less protein? I don't have any light on the tank, so algae does not grow in the tank.

Would a sponge without a pump do any good?

I'm cycling my 10 gallon tank to transfer shrimps in. Currently the ammonia and nitrite is at .2. The nitrate is at 30ppm. What's the best way to lower the nitrate? Water change? Add more java moss? Also, how many shrimps can that tank hold? Would java moss survive without lighting? Is it also okay ...

The plecos will not harm the ghosts shrimp. Otos do not harm the shrimps, but may compete with the shrimps for food such as fish flakes and algae wafers.

I've noticed some baby shrimps appearing and noticed that the female shrimp still has some eggs. I only have 1 berried cherry red shrimp.

My snail population is growing out of control. I wouldn't want to put loaches in there because they will eat the baby shrimps. Any suggestions?

I'm going to take everything out of my 29 gallon and put the few cherry red shrimps I have in a 2.5 gallon tank. Would this kill them? And would I need a heater?

You should put Java Moss in Brackish water. Java moss can live in brackish water and it would be good for the shrimps.

What is the best way to remove the ammonia?

Ammonia = .25, is that too high?

Found about 6 dead in 3 days and probably more dead in the back.

What is causing them to die? Copper? I added the NovAqua that removes copper.
